This article explores the philosophy of minimalism as a key trend in contemporary art and design, focusing on how the simplicity of forms affects the perception of space. Minimalism, by eschewing superfluous details and complex designs, offers a new understanding of functionality and aesthetics. Through the prism of historical and contemporary examples, the author analyses how clean lines and harmony of proportions create an atmosphere of calm and orderliness. The impact of minimalist design on the psychological state of a person, his ability to concentrate and find inner peace is explored. Methods of implementing minimalist aesthetics in different contexts - from architecture to interiors, from works of art to everyday objects - are discussed. In conclusion, the article emphasises the importance of understanding minimalism not just as a style, but as a way of thinking that promotes a deeper understanding of the world around us and harmony with it.
