The aesthetics of life

The article considers a separate branch of philosophy called "aesthetics". The primary sources and authors of its origin, basic provisions and distinctive characteristics are described. Aesthetics is presented from two sides: not only as a science not only about beautiful and sublime, but also about low-lying, ugly and mean. The development of the science of aesthetics does not stop to this day, penetrating into all spheres of human activity. The process of self-improvement with the help of knowledge of works of art is considered.
