The Estonian village of Konchi-Shavva

The article is devoted to the culture of Estonian settlers in Konchi-Shavva, whose history of development is closely connected with the spread of the Lutheran faith on the territory of the Crimean peninsula. The author traces the history of Estonians in Crimea, starting from the first settlement in 1863 and ending with the construction of a prayer house and a school in 1894. The article updates information about the religious life of Estonians. It is known that Estonians were parishioners of the German Lutheran Church. The author comes to the conclusion that the spread of the Lutheran faith in the territory of Crimea is associated with the settlement of Estonian settlers in Konchi-Shavva.
