Milestone results of the study of “semeyskys” in the publication “History and culture of the Buryat old believers: information resources”

The article reviews the reflection of the culture of Old Believers of Transbaikalia (“Semeyskys”) in an analytical bibliographical publication prepared by S.V. Buraeva and S.V. Vasilyeva. It is essential for the development of scientific research to draw on the accumulated experience of thinking on a particular issue. This is especially relevant in the modern age, when scientists are increasingly using in their research not only already published articles and monographs, but also multimedia and Internet resources. Special attention deserves systematization of educational materials that can be apply not only in the framework of university training, but also in school and preschool institutions. The conclusion is made that the generalization of various information resources on the “Semeyskys” Old Believers of Transbaikalia makes a notable contribution to the further study of this vibrant social group. In addition, it promotes the popularization of the fundamentals traditional culture and traditional values as fundamental foundations of the national society.
