Stages of bridge crossing surveys on the example of modern projects in Uzbekistan

The article notes the specific features of the design of bridge crossings in Uzbekistan. The concept of "bridge crossing" as an engineering structure is considered. The main stages of the survey of bridge crossings and the reasons that complicate their design are given. The economic and social aspects of modern bridge construction are considered. Examples of preparation of documentation, calculation of planned economic indicators of the project of a railway-automobile bridge across the Amu Darya are given. The importance of the development of the road infrastructure of Uzbekistan is emphasized.
