Stages of implementation of the concept of sustainable development of companies

The concept of systems is introduced, within which all the company’s activities on the practical implementation of the modern concept of sustainable development (ESG-systems) are concentrated. A holistic conceptual approach to the creation, functioning and development of such systems is proposed, consisting of a set of interrelated stages. Various options for the transformation of organizational and managerial structures of companies are analyzed, taking into account the implementation of the concept of sustainable development. It is noted that at the initial stages of designing ESG systems, it is necessary to carefully fix the goals of sustainable development and fit these goals into the overall goals of the company’s functioning and development. The methods of identification and fixation of the initial information base are considered in detail, on the basis of which the description of the state and behavior of the ESG system is made in accordance with the identified sustainable development goals of the company. The information base is a set of input qualitative and quantitative parameters (indicators). For comparative evaluation and positioning of the state of ESG systems, it is proposed to create a set of output qualitative and quantitative criteria. Digitized and normalized input parameters of the description and criteria are further used to analyze the integral assessment to the positioning of ESG systems. It is recorded that the results of the integrated assessment and positioning can be used in the analysis, selection and formation of strategies for the functioning and development of ESG systems of companies. The proposed methods of creation, functioning and development of ESG systems are illustrated by the example of the industrial enterprise JSC “Afrikantov OKBM”, which is part of the engineering division of the State Corporation “Rosatom”.
