Stages of regional election processes in post-Soviet Russia: theoretical and methodological aspects

The author defines methodology of regional election processes separation stages, based on the content and structure of the «regional electoral process» category. The definition of the category «regional electoral process» is specified. Some criteria for regional electoral process stages separation in Russia are offered. The stages of Russian regional electoral processes in the post-soviet period are put forward.
