The article analyzes the experience of police reform in Northern Ireland, based on standards outlined in the Code of Ethics. The experience of the police of Northern Ireland illustrates the importance of service to population, citizens' respect, partnership and cooperation, ethical behavior of police. Therefore, it is successfully used in police services of Great Britain. The article is relevant to Russia in connection with the reform of the police.
