Ethics of a civil servant

The article reveals the features of the ethical component of the civil service, analyzes the Model Code of Ethics and Official Conduct of Civil Servants and Municipal Employees of the Russian Federation. It is concluded that compliance with ethical standards, competence and mechanisms of responsibility by civil servants is necessary in modern conditions. The author summarizes the principles of ethics of state and municipal employees.
