Ethics and etiquette in intercultural scientific communication

The article discusses scientific communication from the standpoint of ethics and intercultural communication. The principles of scientific ethics are the same for all researchers, but for the effective implementation of intercultural scientific communication its participants need the knowledge of foreign languages and etiquette methods of interaction with foreign colleagues. The author describes some features of the norms of academic etiquette in Russia and abroad, reveals the main difficulties of the participation of domestic researchers in international scientific communication, shows the need to improve the linguocultural and foreign language competence of Russian scientists.
