Ethical and psychological aspects during childbirth and the development of PTSD in mothers

This paper provides an overview of studies aimed at research the relationship between the neglect of ethical principles by medical personnel during childbirth and the development of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in mothers. The data shows that the prevalence of PTSD associated with childbirth is observed all over the world, and is due to many factors, including disrespectful attitude to the woman in labor. The importance of ethics and psychological support in order to prevent the development of stress disorder is emphasized, and opportunities for training medical personnel are also considered.
