Etymological analysis of the phraseological units of the English language, associated with weather

The article deals with the analysis of the basic sources of the origin of the English weather idioms. The object of the detailed consideration is the history of the origin of the phraseological units as the reflection of the national linguistic picture of the world. There is emphasized the study of the perception of the different weather events by the native speakers from the perspective of phraseology.
