Etiopathogenetic aspects of pediatric tuberculosis: prevalence and peculiarities in Primorsky krai

In this article investigates the pathogenesis of tuberculosis with emphasis on the peculiarities of its course and immunologic aspects in children. Special attention is paid to characteristics of immune response in children's organism, which determines the specificity of development and clinical manifestations of tuberculosis in this age group. Various clinical forms of tuberculosis are also considered. Analyzed statistical data on tuberculosis morbidity in Primorsky Krai, demonstrating trends in the change of epidemiologic indicators in recent years. The article discusses the reasons for the increase in morbidity, coverage of preventive examinations and measures to improve diagnostics and treatment.
