Ethnic identity as a factor of formation civic identity

The problem of identity is studied in the context of cultural and anthropological dynamics. It is argued that the phenomenon of identity is associated with the formation of subjectivizing reflection, which accompanied the process of splitting the primary universal fusion of being mythological thinking with anthropomorphic structuring of the world and alienation of man from his natural beginnings. Agreeing that the duality of human subject-object relations achieves a holistic experience of unity with another through participation, the author reveals the essence of participation as the basis of any kind of identity. It is argued that the mental constitution of meaning-making determines the constitutionality of the existential regime of identity, which is fuelled by the social environment. Factors in the emergence of different types of identity are examined. The role of the eth-no-cultural factor in the context of the formation of civic identity is revealed. It is concluded that the resourcefulness of ethnic culture as a form of social and in-formational communication of a social community has the potential to be extrapolated to supra-ethnic interaction of subjects in the context of consolidation of civil unity.
