This paper discusses an aspect of ethnic identity of Korean Diaspora in Russia through the Oral Life History of an Elderly Korean who has been living in Buryatia in Ulan-Ude. In this paper, the author discusses ethnic identity of Korean Diaspora through the life history and perspectives of his life. Looking through the oral life history of Lee, these meanings of his lineages and generations in conjunction with ethnic identity are important to Korean Diaspora within their ethnic history. But, and it is very interesting that 'giving name' to the children was not so important for the Korean Diaspora in immigration. To our mind, it is a strategic choice for adaptation of the Diaspora to the Russian immigrant community. Our conclusion is that those ethnical phenomena had changed some important components of ethnic identity to Korean Diaspora.
