The aim of the present research is to study the peculiarities of self consciousness and life value hierarchy of the world view structure in Tyva youth under modern social economic conditions. It is shown, that ethno political and social economic changes, which took place in Tyva Republic, had lead to the loss of former values and re-orientation to different social values. The main result of ideological and psychological crisis was the destruction of the previous concept of family relationship, the loss of religious identity and the lowering of ethnic belonging realization. These stand in expressed contradiction to the main personal need, which was brought up in traditionally collectivist culture, namely the need in the integration and group cohesion. Frustration of the main needs lead to personal non-adaptability and destructive tendencies, which is confirmed by high mortality indices among Tyva Republic population and testifies on self destructing conduct.
