Ethnocultural peculiarities of Cuban phraseological units in the comparative aspect

The article highlights the comparison of phraseological units with gastronomic lexis in different variants of the Spanish language (Castilian and Cuban). Some trends of phraseological unit development were revealed in the Cuban variant of the Spanish language as reflecting peculiarities of the world perception of the Cubans, concerning the importance of gastronomy, in particular.
