The article considers the problem of the emergence of ethno-political conflicts in today''s global world. In addition, it details the manifestations, causes and types of ethnic conflict and its manifestations, such as terrorism, political and social conflicts, separatism in all its manifestations and forms. It also describes ways to resolve these conflicts, where the main role is played by political methods of resolving of these contradictions.
