Ethnopolitical myth: genetics

This article is dedicated to the problem of formation of ethnonation. Ethnonation is characterized by such a categorical and conceptual term as ethnicity, which is a necessary but not sufficient category for determination of an integral structure of ethnonation. The author proves that an ethnopolitical myth is formed on the basis of mystical, irrational perception of the reality and the past in an unbreakable interconnection of ethnical and political origins, and this is an ideological basis of ethnonation. The author makes an effort to study the genesis and modern state of an ethnopolitical myth in the process of formation of ethnonation. An ethnopolitical myth, its essence and contents are analyzed in the perspective of time and space, the article supports the conclusion that creation of an ethnopolitical myth is a continuous process, which has positive factors as well as negative ones, and mythological vision should be haltered by rational thinking
