A comparative analysis of the main innovative models is presented. Their advantages and disadvantages are investigated. Examples of their application are considered. It is stated that the innovation process is currently complex and multifaceted. The conclusion is made about the predominance of the intellectual component in the innovative product, and the need for further development of modeling of innovative processes based on information technologies.
