Evolution of the economic growth management concept

The article presents an analysis of the evolution of the concept of managing economic growth, while the starting point of the study was the beginning of the greatest interest of Russian scientists in this category. Two fundamentally different areas of research on economic growth are identified - its identification with other scientific categories and the individualization of this concept. In conclusion, the definition of economic growth is supplemented, taking into account its distinguished features.
