The evolution of “think tanks” in the U.S. foreign policy making (XX century)

The article deals with a role of “think tanks” and transnational corporation in making foreign policy of USA. The author looked through history of research items for better understanding of their phenomena. Besides that, there was a try of analysis of a state administration’s part in work of “think tanks” and their cooperation. "Think tanks" in the current sense of the word appeared in the United States at the beginning of the XX century. "Think tanks" - are organizations that are involved in the protection of public policy in the one-cal areas, as a political strategy, social policy, economics, science and technology, as well as industrial and business policies.
