The evolution of China’s political and economic system

The article examines the theoretical aspects of China’s economic and political system and its impact on global development. It is revealed that the rise of China in the last decade is due to many historical factors, the key of which were the reforms that have determined the economic development of the republic since the late 1970s, through which trade barriers were reduced and the country’s integration into global supply chains, which allowed Chinese enterprises to gain access to international markets, export growth and the creation of millions of workers places. It is proved that one of the main tools through which China exercises its influence is diplomacy, on the basis of which it promotes the ideas of multipolarity and equitable distribution of resources, which often contradicts Western approaches based on liberal values and universal human rights. In this regard, in the context of the study, potential challenges and opportunities that may arise in the prerequisites for its global development are identified. Based on the data analysis, future development trends in the context of geopolitical competition and environmental safety issues are described.
