Evolution of the concept of «Public Authority» in domestic legal doctrine

The article examines the development of the concept of «public power» in Russian legal doctrine from the pre-revolutionary period to the present. The relevance of the topic is determined by the 2020 constitutional reforms, which gave the notion of «public power» normative significance, and the need for theoretical understanding of these changes. The purpose of the study is to trace the evolution of the content of public power in Russian theory of state and law.
