Evolution of development and current realities of the "lean production"

The article is devoted to the evolution of the process of development of the concept of «lean production» since its inception to the present stage of development. The article examines the state of the «lean production» in the modern age. The authors identify the key stages of formation of lean concepts, identify the most relevant and significant today problems of development of lean production in Russia and offer possible solutions.
