Evolution of the bank deposits insurance system in Russia

This article is devoted to the description of the evolution of the deposit insurance system in Russia in the last 20 years. The author shows what changes have taken place in this system, evaluates the evolution of the regulatory framework. The economic essence of the deposit insurance system is also considered and an assessment of the consequences of the system change in recent years is made. It points to the prospects for the development of the deposit insurance system in the Russian Federation.
