Evolution of the theories of productive forces location on the background of formation and development of technological layouts

The article discusses clustering as one of the types of division of labor, in this regard, it is proposed to consider the evolution of cluster theories in the context of the life cycles of technological structures. An analysis of the issues of economic geography ofproduction location, the spatial organization of the economy, as well as the regional economy made it possible to identify the stages and directions of evolution of theories of the location ofproductive forces and made it possible to form the development of "cluster theories" in the context of the life cycles of technological orders.
