Evolutionary features of scanseology practice and its modern condition in the Russian Federation

The article considers the issues of open-air ethnographical museums development in the USSR and the Russian Federation over a period of almost a century. The positive tendencies in the formation of expository and auxiliary infrastructures of existing museum complexes in this area are analyzed at the present stage. Their systematization is considered depending on the way of forming the exhibition infrastructure and volume of expository space in accordance with the sizes of the museumification territory. The answer to the debated issue concerning the possibility and volume of using modern replicas in the expository space is given.
