The negative result of treatment is often not only the fault of the doctor, but also the patient himself, who by his actions prevented the treatment. In this regard, one of the means of prevention of possible negative consequences may be bringing the patient to legal responsibility for actions that reduce the effectiveness of the prescribed and ongoing treatment. In addition, legal liability can be a means of reducing the victimization of the patient, as a factor that provokes the Commission of iatrogenic crimes.
