Lawyers among the authors of journal "Russian idea" (Russkaya myisl’) (1880-1905)

The article considers lawyers - authors of the journal «Russian idea» (Russkaya myisl’) as the subject of magazine legal discourse. Legal discourse - all actual and imagined dimensional of social attitude to low. Determined the number of jurists publicists (33) and identified a range of relevant issues (criminal, civil, family, land, water, government, financial, international, plain, peasant, police law, history of state and law). It is proved that they belonged to the intellectual elite of the Russian Empire is a multi-faceted socio-professional community, formed from a variety of branched groups, among which stands out a scientific type of elite, whose task is the generation of values, symbols, and designs. The importance and authority of the members of the intellectual elite allows to develop and implement in mass consciousness ensamples behaviours and understanding of social reality. Through articles lawyers spread among the educated society of academic knowledge of law and participated in the creation of legal discourse. The authors press towards to make law with important element intellectual culture of journal audience. It is noted, that a distinctive feature of «Russian idea» was the presence among lawyers published persons who had problems with law machinery in connection with illegal political activities. At the same time, the authors of the lawyers were quite trustworthy officials of the Ministry of justice and war departments. This phenomenon is associated with eclectic political guidelines of the journal. This led to high educational potential edition, which, despite its controversial reputation, broadcasted values and samples of an jural state. The rapid development of exact and natural Sciences, familiarity lawyers on their achievements contributed to the convergence of different fields of knowledge and the presentation of the results of such interaction. The set of topics was designed, on the one hand, on a fairly broad readership (fam ily, financial, civil and criminal law) and to individuals facing life of peasants (the problems of land, water, customary law).
