Yusuf Akchura and Fatih Kerimi at the beginning of the first Balkan war in 1912

The article presents information from materials of Tatar journalist Fatikh Kerimi, who worked in Istanbul during the Balkan War (1912-1913). This data is related to the life of an outstanding Turkish and Tatar public figure, publicist Yusuf Akcura during November and December 1912. The author considers the articles of F. Kerimi in the newspaper "Vakit" later published in book form "Istanbul Mektuplari" ("Istanbul letters"). He also gives a brief description of the political situation in Istanbul at the end of 1912.
