Yusuf Akchura between "Economism" And "Nationalism"

The article describes the social and political views of Yusuf Aktchurafor the first time in Russian language. It presents his worldview evolution, influence of the "background" on historical and contemporary political ideas. The article disproves the opinion of some scholars about unoriginal and raw national character of the works of the tatar scholar and journalist. This article is aimed to reevaluate his ideas, unique views on events and methodology, namely on the Ottoman Empire. The author shows that the ideas of Yu. Akchura were fruitfully developed.
