To analysis the institute the feast in traditional societies: the evolution of forms and basic functions

In traditional and archaic communities PIR acted not only an essential Act of social communication, but also a component management system. If the original pier was inextricably linked to the religious ceremony and celebratory political meeting, with the participation of not only the elite, but also broad sectors of the population, of great importance over time acquired a Royal feast, which reproduced the vertical stratification of ancient Oriental despotij. In medieval China and Japan feast plays an important aesthetic function in the culture of intellectuals-managers. Unlike the Eastern societies, Greek feast Symposium was an integral integral element of aristocratic lifestyle, that is the Commonwealth. In the Greek policies one of the main functions of the Pira-simposija was the education of the citizen in the conversation. During the middle ages the feast as a sociocultural phenomenon remains an integral part of the life of a large part of "barbaric" of Europe. Of particular importance in the emerging subculture of Knights played Knight''s feast-socio-political institution through which the regulated many areas of public relations. Meals together as a form of communication and interaction between different socio-political forces detected almost at all levels and in all socio-cultural areas of ancient Russia. Feasts served as a means of strengthening the unity of the elite and the solution of internal conflicts.
