To the discussion on the introduction in the UPC of the Russian Federation of the institute of objective truth

Аnnotation: The article examines the problem of establishing objective truth in criminal proceedings. The author sees in objective truth the goal of proof in criminal proceedings, but with the reasonable introduction of such an institution into the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation. On this issue in 2014, a bill was submitted to the State Duma of the Russian Federation at the initiative of the RF IC. At present, the introduction of the institution of objective truth is a debatable issue.
