The modern digital methods of signals processing allow measuring the speed of sound of the longitudinal and shearing waves under the same experiment conditions. The immersion method of direct measure of time spreading of ultrasound outgoing pulse is used in this experiment. The method allows to measure speed of shear waves of different polarization. That is the construction materials with the anisotropic properties may be investigated.
