To the methodology of the assessment stocks of medicinal plants of Tuva

The need for plant raw materials for health care is increasing every year. The resources of some valuable medicinal plants of the Republic of Tuva are depleted, and therefore there is a need for their inventory and development of methods of rational scientifically based, targeted, integrated use of natural plant resources, including medicinal plants, as well as their protection, which are of great importance for human life. Medicinal plants, being an integral part of the plant world, also need state measures for their rational use and protection. This is due to the fact that medicinal plants experience strong anthropogenic effects. The article presents data on the use of various methods in the study of raw materials of medicinal plants of the Republic of Tuva, depending on the abundance of species, the Association to the elements of relief, the type of plant communities or soil differences, etc. describes the methods of determining the total and operational reserves of plant medicinal raw materials, the preparation of resource maps, i. e. the methods of mapping the areas of medicinal plants, which indicate specific areas of distribution of medicinal plants for the management of science-based procurement of raw materials without damage to the natural environment, taking into account the recovery abilities of populations.
