"To the sea-ocean" by A.M. Remizov and "Mermaid tales" by A.N. Tolstoy: the peculiarities of designing the mythological landscape

The article deals with the description of designing the mythological landscape in the fairy prose of A.M. Remizov (“To the Sea-Ocean”) and A.N. Tolstoy (“Mermaid Tales”). There are analyzed the peculiarities of the writers’ poetics - playing with the idea of the reconstruction of the original mythological world picture, the transformation of the images of the fairy tales characters, the appeal to irony and grotesque. There is conducted the comparison of the creative manner and the peculiarities of the world view by A.M. Remizov and A.N. Tolstoy.
