To the problems of corporate governance of transnational corporations when making strategically important decisions

The article examines the problems faced by transnational corporations in the formation of corporate governance, in particular in the preparation of financial statements in order to improve the quality of risk management and improve control over the effectiveness of the management system. With the onset of the era of globalization, the pursuit of competitive advantages beyond national borders and the implementation of profit maximization increasingly become the starting point of TNC management strategies. Implementation of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act allows companies to take measures to minimize the risks of errors in financial reporting and to build a system of control over the processes of its preparation.
