The results of physical and chemical study of pottery belonging to the final Neolithic from the Bogorodskoe-24 settlement (2008) are presented for the first time. Ten fragments from different vessels of the “post-Malaya Gavan” type have been examined using petrography, Х-ray analysis, and thermogravimetry. Various types of clay for preparing molding masses of different degrees of meagerness by adding mineral and organic components were used. Mixed mineralogical-organogenic and mineralogical-chamotte-organogenic traditions of clay blending, as well as short-term low temperature (600° C) firing mode have been detected. The comparative research of pottery from Bogorodskoe-24 and pottery of the Final Neolithic from the Suchu Island revealed the similarity of technological and morphological features, and ornamental decoration. The main conclusion is the mixture of various pottery traditions in the pottery from Bogorodskoe-24 site.
