The article is devoted to consideration of features of functioning of market of educational services, in particular, the problem of regulation of competition in the market of educational services from the state. Special attention is paid to implementation of regional programmes in the field of education, as well as the organization and analysis of results of monitoring of satisfaction of residents of the region the quality of educational services.
