To the problem of theory and method of studying the Christian motive in A.P. Chekhov's prose (of Easter motive's meaning in the novel "The Cossack")

The article gives an interpretation of Chekhov's story "The Cossack", in which two plans are combined: current and eternal, everyday life and memory of evangelical events. Externally, a small everyday event is placed in the Christian context, which gives the event a deep universal meaning.
