About the problem of genre and functional diversity of regional philosophical and cultural publications

The article is devoted to the review of publications prepared by the humanitarian departments of several universities in Samara, 2006 – 2013. The themes of the publications are determined by the specifics of universities and interests of the scientific teams. Thus, there are two key thematic areas – the philosophy of medicine and the city as an object of philosophical and cultural studies. Research teams are eager not only to consider the relevant aspects of these themes, but also find various forms of presenting the results of their work – collective monographs, collections of scientific works, information and image publications, educational training manuals and so on. Promoting regional science, scientists are faced with the problem of adequate transformation of their scientific work into the indicators of the efficiency and effectiveness of their activities (for example RISC).
