To the calculation of the parameters of the cold gas-dynamic spraying of machine parts using the installation Dimet-405

The article considers the possibility of using iron-based powders for cold gas-dynamic sprayingon existing equipment (DIMET-405 unit) with theoretical calculation. The use of iron-based powders will significantly expand the list of parts that can be restored with the help of cold gas-dynamic spraying. At present, powders based on non-ferrous metals are mainly used for cold gas-dynamic spraying, which does not allow to restore steel parts subjected to mechanical and to a greater extent to thermal loads [3, 4]. This is primarily due to the different coefficients of thermal expansion of the sprayed material and substrate material. To solve this problem, it is proposed to use iron-based powders, the value of the coefficient of thermal expansion of which is as close as possible to the corresponding coefficient of the substrate material, i.e. steel, since the vast majority of agricultural machinery parts are made of steel.
