The article presents an analysis of the comparative results of surgical treatment of secondary cataract in 36 patients suffering from myopia with and without preservation of the integrity of the posterior lens capsule. The studies have shown that the removal of loose elements of secondary cataract in patients with high myopia is a gentle and effective operation and preferred to laser capsulotomy.
