On the typology of a compound sentence: semantic and structure features of the expounding constructions

Бесплатный доступ

The article describes the expounding compound constructions principles of the typology, based on dynamic (derivation) approach. The essence of the dynamic approach is that in describing the structure and semantics of the complex sentence its derivational history is taken into account, i.e. derivational relationship with the related (explicite or implicite) components of the text. The definition of one of the key concepts of the dynamic syntax - sentence de-actualisation - is proposed. It is shown that the dynamic approach has several advantages comparing to the traditional (static) description of the sentence structure.
