Due to its geographical location in the center of a great country, in the 30s of the last century, Krasnoyarsk turned out to be the center for the development of polar aviation. The pilots of the Yenisei Airlines were among the pioneers on the air routes of the north and northeast of Russia. The gradually increasing number of aircraft involved in the polar lines led to the creation of an aircraft repair base of the Northern Sea Route in Krasnoyarsk. The aircraft repair shops established in 1934, despite the difficulties, developed dynamically, and in August 1935 they were deployed to the Krasnoyarsk Aviation Repair Plant. The staff of the plant did not pass the Stalinist repressions that swept the country in 1937-1938. About the fate of the former directors of the Krasnoyarsk Aviation Repair Plant B.G. Krutsky and P.F. Zuev, who became victims of these repressions, will be discussed in this work, the purpose of which is to introduce into scientific circulation sources stored in the archives of the FSB of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and in the State Archives of the Krasnoyarsk territory.
