Mechanisms of the retarded fatique fracture of material in details, machine units, mechanisms and equipment on example of low-alloy high-strength steels HQ70 and HQ80C are researched at tests on "Implant" method. As a result it is gained, that steel HQ70 and HQ80C have high enough tendency to the retarded destruction. Especially in zones of a weld and thermal effect because of the maintenance of high internal stresses. From this it is possible to conclude, that welded assemblies, stress concentrators in ma-chines, mechanisms, owing to long accumulation of defects lead to the fatique fracture for the period of autumns - winter maintenance.
