The article discusses the improvement of the technological circulation system of cooling water and steam of TPPs, through the use of various treatment technologies, which achieves a decrease in the amount of circulating water of the station. Wastewater is treated by separating flows according to the content of harmful pollutants in them. Part of the wastewater can be sent directly to the sewer if these waters do not contain a large amount of harmful substances, part is sent to special installations - reverse osmosis, stripping columns, selective ion exchange, etc. Distribution of flows, setting the required concentrations of substances in water, dispatching and reliable and uninterrupted operation of the entire system is possible due to the introduction of modern automation systems, programmable logic controllers, control valves and appropriate sensors.
