Particular attention is paid to the discovery of new factual information, which contributes to the greater objectification of the history of this issue. The socio-political and economic situation in which the center and the periphery turned out to be at the time under consideration has caused quite serious changes in the education system. Deciding to quickly bring the educational institutions of the province in line with uniform requirements, the imperial administration decided to abolish its special position. Along with successes, there were shortcomings, as a result of which the management system in the North Caucasus declined by the beginning of the 20th century, and this also affected education. All the progressive public understood that it was necessary to reorganize the school and then a new trend called Jadidism (socio-political and educational movement among the Muslim peoples in the Russian state) appeared in the Caucasus at the beginning of the 20th century.
