About the study of national consciousness of the resident of united Europe

One of the most pressing contemporary issues in Europe is the question of its integrity. European unity and the future of the EU as a political project depends largely on the commitment of its existence by the citizens of European states having status as EU citizens as well. Their will and their democratic choices can stimulate or stop the integration process. In this context, a particular relevance receives research of mechanisms to stimulate European identity. A large number of politically engaged projects implemented with the support of the European Commission and other EU political institutions are aimed to solving the problem.
